Many people are interested in local democracy and the issues that affect them, but don’t always have the time or opportunity to attend meetings in person.
Webcasting our meetings is one of the ways in which we can engage with our residents, by allowing you to follow meetings live in your home, or to watch them online afterwards. This means that you can see how committees work, find out more about what is happening in your area and understand how decisions get made.
Forthcoming and recent webcasts are shown on the right. Older webcasts can be found in the webcast library.
All our webcasts are broadcast live and are available to view online for six months afterwards.
You can use the links in the webcast to jump to different agenda items or to different speakers and you can also view all the agenda papers and presentation material that the committees will have before them.
You will also be able to link into details about the councillors speaking at the meeting.
